First, I believe I neglected to mention that my hostels’ name is Lazy Gaga. hahahha 🙂

For my first full day in Guangzhou I decided to wonder around the local Ximenkou area (where my hostel is).  I found a small temple and was looking at all the people hurrying in when a Chinese man introduced himself and invited me into the temple.  I learned how to qidao, pray with incense.  I was told this was a Buddhist Temple but not all the people there are Buddhist.  People come out in numbers just because of Chinese New Year!

I then went to see the famous Guangzhou skyline featuring Canton Tower!  It is a strange looking building but I hear it looks nice when they light it up at night.  (I’ll have to visit it again to get pictures of that.)
