I woke up at 6 am.  Got on the subway to get to Beijing shoudu jichang, or the airport! It was quite the trek but I got on my flight to Guangzhou.  When I left Beijing is was about 20 degrees.  I was wrapped up in my sweater, scarf, and winter jacket. When I landed in Guangzhou is was 75 degrees.  I stripped off all my layers and rolled up my long sleeve shirt. 

Guangzhou is quite beautiful.  There are mountains to the north and the Pearl River Delta which winds through the city itself.  It’s cool enough that people eat dinner outside and all the windows in the hostel are open.  I’ve already met some kind people at the hostel and we had dinner together, all 7 of us!

The hostel itself is really nice too.  I’m in a 8 person dorm and the common area is super comfortable and welcoming!

I think I needed to get out of Beijing, to get out of the cold.  This warm weather with low air pollution will do me wonders!  I can’t wait to wake up early to explore!
