Once you’ve been to an uber tourist attraction like the Forbidden City- you don’t pay as much attention to the main attraction.  During my second visit to the Forbidden City, I became captivated by the people there.  The following a pictures of everyday people enjoying the space.

Getting preoccupied while waiting for his parents to move on to the next gate. 

This little girl was completely devastated.  The tears could drown a whole city.  Her world was crumbling apart before her eyes…

…but it was nothing a piggy back from her Dad couldn’t fix! 

After walking through the palace, crossing the street, and climbing up to a small temple on a hill- I caught a nice glimpse of one last person I wanted to document at the Forbidden City.

(And yes, that is smog.)
