Shanghai: The Financial Center of China. What a city! It is filled with impressive and massive buildings. My Dad, our family friend Deb, and I decided to visit the Pearl TV Tower to see the spectacular view of the city from above.
The elevator ride was short but we were up so high! The city extends as far as the eye can see. Business and residential buildings cover the ground until it meets the sea.
Up in the Pearl TV Tower, my Dad and I got to step over the glass ledge and walk over the city!
It wasn’t so scary…
Once you got over the initial fear, it was a lot of fun! After being 351 meters up in the air, we decided to head back down and do some exploring!
We ended up in a little section of town called Tianzifang and got lost in the labyrinth of little shops.
It was an exciting first day in Shanghai but our trip has only gotten better and better!
