{"id":3718,"date":"2014-05-18T09:51:47","date_gmt":"2014-05-18T09:51:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/setcourseforchina.wordpress.com\/?p=2800"},"modified":"2014-05-18T09:51:47","modified_gmt":"2014-05-18T09:51:47","slug":"day-three-riding-camels-and-climbing-sand-dunes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/?p=3718","title":{"rendered":"Day Three- Riding Camels and Climbing Sand Dunes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just outside of Dun Huang, Gansu Province is the Gobi Desert.\u00a0 Our program coordinated a trip in which we could ride camels into the Gobi Desert, climb a sand dune, then watch the sunset from the top.\u00a0 It was as awesome as it sounds!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/05\/dscf3311.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2803\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf3311.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>First, we met our camels.\u00a0 I was pretty apprehensive about the whole things since they are so big.\u00a0 They sat down on the ground so we could hop on but them getting up felt like a roller coaster.\u00a0 Luckily, the rest of the trip was nice and relaxing!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/05\/img_0879.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2836\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/img_0879.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/05\/img_0894.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2838\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/img_0894.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/05\/dscf3331.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2808\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf3331.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We even got to pass through a local grave yard on our way to the sand dunes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/05\/dscf3319.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2811\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf3319.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/05\/dscf3326.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2814\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf3326.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here comes the sand dunes!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/05\/dscf3336.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2817\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf3336.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/05\/dscf3342.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2819\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf3342.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once we arrived at the sand dunes (which are about 200-300 meters tall) we got off our camels and attempted to climbed up!
