It&#8217;s absurd!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2013\/09\/dscf0032.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" id=\"i-355\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1_dscf0032.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Most Beijingers take public transportation, walk, bike, or ride scooters to get from place to place.\u00a0 People in Beijing are completely silent when they walk, bike, or ride scooters.\u00a0 They just wizzzzzz past you leaving only a few inches to spare between you and them.\u00a0 They also use the street AND sidewalk. No where is safe and you must be on high alert to ensure that you stay out of their way.\u00a0 The one nice courtesy is the little horn they press to let you know they are directly behind you and you should be anywhere but where you are at the moment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2013\/09\/dscf0150.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" id=\"i-363\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf0150.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our campus is really pretty! Although my university is approximately 50 years old, some of the trees on campus are over 200 years old! This is because this area used to be part of a Chinese emperor&#8217;s palace.\u00a0 No structures exist but the trees still stand mature and beautiful!
