src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf2914.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After a stressful week, last Friday I walked to this nearby temple to find a quiet place away from all the hustle and bustle.\u00a0 Heavy construction was going on next door to the temple, but once I stepped through the doorway, the beautiful trees and gardens buffered out the noise. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/03\/dscf2907.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2584\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf2907.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0I think this man is getting the trees ready for summer by stripping away some of the outer bark.\u00a0 I have no idea if this is true but he was pretty good at whatever he was doing!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/03\/dscf2892.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2589\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf2892.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As I walked through the temple, I was amazed how many people were praying there on a Friday afternoon (before 5pm).\u00a0 Young school children were walking around to each building, placing an incense stick before a statue then praying.\u00a0 There was even an art class at the temple drawing and painting the scenery.\u00a0 This temple seemed like an escape not just for me but for others as well to relax and slow down within the city.<\/p>\n<p>I was most fascinated with the incense they were burning.\u00a0 To me, this incense seems to be counting down to something.\u00a0 Burning away until it reaches its stub.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/03\/dscf2903.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2595\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf2903.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2014\/03\/dscf2905.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2598\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/dscf2905.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a
