<\/a><\/p>\nThe women singing and performing are not doing it for money or attention.\u00a0 When walking through a public park in China, I noticed just how different it is than an American park.\u00a0 These performers are doing it because they wanted to– no one asked or accepted any money.\u00a0 It is a free and open area for them to practice and perform.<\/p>\n There was also some serious Mahjong games going on too!\u00a0 My Dad looked on at the excitement.<\/p>\n Many beautiful areas are tucked away inside Shanghai.<\/p>\n On one side of the park was a government building with a dried fountain outside.\u00a0 Many school children were playing and running across it because it made a great obstacle course.\u00a0<\/p>\n Then out of the blue, the fountain turned on! Thank goodness no one was running on it otherwise they would have gotten soaked.\u00a0 Turning on the fountain did attract a curious crowd!<\/p>\n Next, my Dad and I visited the Bund.\u00a0 The Bund is a section of Shanghai which still reflects it’s French colonizers.\u00a0 Through the building facades and windy streets, the Bund district is like walking through France itself.\u00a0<\/p>\n If you are in the Bund and look across the Huangpu River, you can see the futuristic skyline of Shanghai.<\/p>\n It was also beautiful to see at night too!<\/p>\n I like taking pictures at night like this because you can play!
