Wangfujing is a small little alley filled with amazingly weird food.\u00a0 A small group of us adventured there on Saturday to shop and see the strangeness in person.\u00a0 We turned down the alley and were immediately met with live scorpions on sticks! Their little legs were still moving too!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2013\/11\/img_0265.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" id=\"i-1621\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/img_0265.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Farther down the street, we saw bigger, more frightening scorpions.\u00a0 I can&#8217;t even imagine eating this!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2013\/11\/img_0270.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" id=\"i-1624\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/img_0270.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From the frightening images above, you can understand why I settled on trying the cute, harmless starfish.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/2013\/11\/img_0268.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" id=\"i-1627\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"https:\/\/evacohnchina.summitbiztech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/img_0268.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once I picked out the one I wanted&#8211;don&#8217;t worry they were dead&#8211;they popped them into a boiler for a few minutes.\u00a0 They were tougher than I expected but still quite tasty.\u00a0 Now that I&#8217;ve eaten a starfish, I don&#8217;t believe I need to try them again.\u00a0 However, if you ever walk down a street and see a starfish for sale, I would recommend trying one!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I ate a starfish!
